Molly Goldfarb x A great Gallery Room, 108

Molly Goldfarb (MAG) is a Manhattan-based visual artist known for her vibrant, "pop-meets-punk" aesthetic. A graduate of New York University with a background in History and Studio Art, Goldfarb approaches her work as a visual archivist, documenting her city life and frequent travels through an electric lens. Working primarily in acrylic and digital painting, she captures her inspirations through a distinctively flattened style and a bold, saturated color palette.

Goldfarb’s work effortlessly bridges the gap between traditional drawing, painting, photography and new media. Her digital prowess is highlighted by her monumental 11ft x 9ft installation, "Made Up," permanently featured in the lobby of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Most recently, in October 2025, she was selected as the visual architect for Manhattan in Google DeepMind’s "Imagine If" campaign. Partnering with Google and OUTFRONT Media, she utilized the generative video model Veo to transform the "wildest dreams" of New Yorkers into large-scale digital public art displayed across NYC transit network- a project which will culminate in a Times Square celebration on December 12.

Beyond her solo practice, Goldfarb is a dedicated community builder. In 2020, she established MOLLY+FRIENDS, an independent curatorial platform based online and in her Hudson Square NYC studio. Her work has been exhibited internationally, being represented by JR Gallery in Berlin, Germany, and remains a fixture in the New York and Miami art fair circuits. She is currently presenting a double feature during Miami Art Week 2025, exhibiting her latest solo works at Aqua Art Miami with the Great Gallery collective, and curating for MOLLY+FRIENDS at SCOPE Miami Beach.

For Molly, the screen is not a shortcut; it is a canvas of infinite depth. As a digital painter, Goldfarb subverts the speed of modern technology by employing a process of radical slowness. Her work is characterized by an obsessive attention to detail, achieved by zooming deep into the digital matrix to hand-paint the finest nuances of her subjects and their outlines.

By fusing the emotional weight of hyper-realism with the spirited quirk of pop-abstraction, Goldfarb creates a world that is at once familiar and beautifully constructed. Her work asks us to suspend our disbelief and engage with the digital image as a site of human touch and emotion.
